Why agentic SAP engineering needs an authority model

An AI system can reason, propose and coordinate. That does not automatically give it authority to change SAP.

The gap between intelligence and permission

Most agentic demonstrations compress a complex delivery lifecycle into a simple story: understand the request, call tools and finish the task. That becomes unsafe in enterprise SAP engineering because a plausible artifact is not permission to create, activate or deploy it.

Responsibilities must remain distinct

Intent and orchestration belong to the control plane. Compilation and qualification belong to SFC. Execution belongs to A4Layer after Govern approval. System truth belongs to SAP.

Evidence closes the engineering loop

A green message from an agent is not deployment evidence. CAPELLA distinguishes generated output, qualification, authorized execution and live SAP verification.
